This process is to produce a replica of the required casting. This is made by injecting wax into a tool.

Most wax patterns will be attached to a center wax runner to form a “tree.” This allows multiple parts to be cast in the same mold, which is more efficient.

The wax tree is dipped in ceramic slurry and then coated with sand within a dedicated coating cabinet.

The coated wax trees are dried in humidity-controlled air cabinet.

The dewaxed shells are preheated to a specific temperature and filled with molten metal. As the metal cools, the parts, gates, tree, and pouring cup solidify into a single casting.

Once the metal has cooled sufficiently, the ceramic shell is vibrated off the cast product using a pneumatic knockout machine.

The parts are removed from the central tree and heat-treated at specific temperatures to achieve a uniform structure and the desired properties.

Products are finished using shot blasting, grinding, and machining to ensure a smooth, high-quality finish.

Final inspection and all required tests are performed on each product to verify dimensions and mechanical properties.
